please i need your help, the status of my refund at the irs website says your refund is still being processed your refund will be available at a later date, what does this mean?

please help me now, i need to get my money back to pay for my rent or else i am going to get kick out. its been two months now since i submitted my taxes to the irs, my cousin already got her refund.

i dont think its fair that other people get refunds when others have submitted before them. it should be first come, first serve don't you think so?

please, anyone reply.

I filed 2/6 and my status is the same. I'm about to have a vehicle repoed. I've been unemployed since Jan so of course the one year I was really counting on my refund is the year it doesn't come as quickly as I had hoped and having no one to be able to call and see what the hold up is frustrates me. Just praying and waiting.

i'm having the same issue i checked my refund and it showed bars, then i went back and the bars are now gone and it says still being processed a date will be giving when one becomes available, and today i received a letter from the ohio dept of taxation saying my state refund is being offset uggghhh!!!!!!

there are alot of reason why your refund remains in process status.

i dont want to alarm you, but if its taking longer than other people is because the irs has to do more checking.

but dont panic, sometimes tax payers make typos or forgot to fill out a line and the IRS has to make 100% that the information you provided is accurate, if they find problems, they will reply to your refund.

calling them is not going to solve much,

the question i would ask you is, did you file the taxes yourself, or did you have a professional tax preparer do it for you
